THE CONVERSATION
What becomes difficult to say?
Responsibility. Expectations. The pressure to keep going.
The Weight Men Carry is a facilitated conversation about men’s emotional wellbeing. It gives workplaces and community groups a structured way to discuss pressure and asking for support, without requiring personal disclosures.
WHAT YOU CAN COMMISSION
A talk, a discussion, or a session with time to practise.
- A focused introduction to the expectations men may experience.
- Facilitated questions that invite reflection without stereotyping.
- Practical language for checking in with a colleague or friend.
- Signposting to appropriate support.
PLAN THE ROOM
The format matters as much as the topic.
Who can attend?
Discuss the intended group in your brief. The session can be shaped for a workplace or community audience, including people who want to support men in their lives.
Do people have to share personal stories?
No. Personal sharing is voluntary. Participants can reflect without speaking about private experiences.
What will the quotation include?
The agreed format, facilitator, duration, headcount, delivery requirements and fee. This is education and discussion, not crisis care or group therapy.
