NAIROBI ROOTS. A WIDER CONVERSATION.

THE WORKSHOP

Practise the moments that matter.

A difficult conversation. A defensive response. A decision made too quickly.

This is facilitated skills practice for managers and teams. Bring the situations your people recognise, and build the session around the behaviours you want them to practise.

  • Recognise a response under pressure before acting on it.
  • Describe a workplace issue without attacking the person.
  • Listen for information that changes the conversation.
  • Make a clear request and agree a realistic next step.

FOR THE COMMISSIONING TEAM

What goes into your proposal.

What are we commissioning?

A facilitated leadership or team workshop with an agreed agenda, relevant scenarios and practical exercises. The proposal specifies delivery time, headcount, materials and fees.

Can this be part of a wider programme?

Discuss a sequence of workshops or a later review session in your brief. The number of sessions and any follow up are agreed before booking.

How do we judge whether it was useful?

Agree the review method in advance. Participant feedback, an action commitment and a later manager check in answer different questions. A single workshop does not establish lasting organisation wide change.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Which conversation needs to change?

Build your workshop around the leadership moments your people face.

An enquiry is a conversation. It is not a commitment to a programme.
